The Sex Pistols are no ordinary band. Their story is long and complicated and not without casualties. Without them, popular culture in the last 30-odd years would be very, very different. The Pistols didn’t just kick down doors. They kicked them off the wall. For a band that really only released one album and four singles, they spawned a sea of imitators and still do to this day.

This is not simply another collab. This is a partnership between like-minded people at Spitfire and Vans joining forces not just to make a great product collection, but also to create, build, and give back to the skateboard cities that spawned the pros involved in this project. "Keeping the Underground Lit" was the clear and obvious starting point for this co-operative. Spitfire, Vans, Cardiel, and Van Engelen will collectively work to design 2 new skate spots, one in Sacto and one in Los Angeles. The product capsule supporting the effort includes footwear and apparel that is clean and timeless, staying true to the core roots of both brands. The Spitfire x Vans collab logo ties the collection together, perfectly symbolizing the union formed for this project.

Starting in seasons past with the Basic Crew and V-Neck tee, this concept is now expanded into a variety of styles including tanks, jerseys, hoodies, wovens, sweaters, jackets, and headwear. These items are branded with the iconic Vans Red Label pack and are available in a range of solids and heathers that tie in with the seasonal Classics footwear color palette.
